This student discovers that the group of boys in the class all got their hands on the exams weeks before and learnt their answers off by heart, ready to ace the exam. At first, she feels frustrated but takes the test anyway. But after finding the test challenging and realizing that the order of grades does matter, she decides to let their teacher in on their little secret…

    I did not name anyone. Now my female classmate is telling me I should not have done it because they might be held back and because they are boys they actually need to pass the exam to get a job.

    Capokid If they all score much higher than normal, it can actually mess up your grade and turn say a c into ad or f because they may be grading on a 'bell curve' where you are scored RELATIVE to your classmates instead of just on your own merits. So if a few people score 100% every one else's grade could drop in that class.

    DarthRed Yoga NTA. I am curious why you told anybody you reported it though because you know it's going to get back to them. Which is fine, because they cheated and that's that. But then I just don't know why you bothered with doing it in confidence to start with.
